Through the use of drama Jestival create safe environments for learning to occur. Drama allows us to view the world and the lessons we learn through the safe exploration of 'play'. Via such an exploration of the world and our societies, drama allows us to understand it, communicate constructively and, even change it.
Jestival employ theory and practice within drama that empowers participants to take control of their own learning. Through this cognitive learning style and 'play' an engaging experience is achieved in which a wide spectrum of learning and development can occur.
Jestival use drama to inspire participation in the arts, explore the curriculum, build self-esteem and confidence, inspire team building or simply facilitate theatre productions from start to finish. This work is enriched by our knowledge and skills in a wide range of theatre styles and techniques that are used to inspire innovative arts outreach.
