What is Arts Award?
- Arts Award is an accredited qualification at three levels (Bronze, Silver and Gold) offered at Levels 1, 2 and 3 on the English National Qualifications Framework (NQF).
- Arts Award is open to all young people aged 11 – 25.
- The award fosters creative, communication and leadership skills and helps to prepare young people for further education and employment.
- Young people can gain their awards through any art form, as creators of their own work or supporting an arts production.
Jestival currently offer the Arts Award Bronze and Silver qualifications. These are delivered through fully facilitated programmes or support can be designed to accredit an institutes existing arts provision. The Arts Award can also work effectively as an addition to many of Jestival's community and education programmes.
